The Japanese Gallery

Welcome to The Japanese Gallery - home of fine Japanese art and design for the public to enjoy.

Latest Acquisitions

The Japanese Gallery is regularly acquiring new acquisitions to add to the Collection. It is not the objective of The Japanese Gallery to acquire items that are only historically important or valued for specific makers or workshops. The Japanese Gallery believes that all works of art have value in and of themselves for their aesthetic beauty and craftmanship regardless of heritage or monetary value. View here for an insight into what’s new in the collection.

If you are new to The Japanese Gallery you may be wondering what it’s actually about. The Japanese Gallery was created for several reasons, believe it or not, there are very few websites and little information to find on the subject of Japanese art and antiques. Other than the great museums and the many Japanese art dealers, there are very few websites on collections and the study of Japanese art. Born out of this frustration and the pure love and passion for Japanese art The Japanese Gallery was created.
